Targets: Dermis to SMAS · 1.5–4.5 mm
Ultrasound is concentrated at a fixed depth beneath the skin, creating tiny points of controlled heat while the surface is left intact. Interchangeable cartridges reach 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm and 4.5 mm — the last being the fascial (SMAS) layer that surgeons lift in a facelift — with a dedicated 2.0 mm head for the delicate eye area.

Radiofrequency warms the dermis to around 45 °C — the range at which collagen fibres contract and remodelling begins. It is the element aimed at laxity that comes from the skin itself: crepiness, fine lines and loss of firmness.
Microcurrent
Targets: Facial muscle · tone
Gentle electrical pulses prompt the muscle beneath to contract in place (isometric contraction). It is aimed at laxity that comes from reduced muscle tone rather than the skin — whether it is included, and where, is guided by your anatomy.
Skin laxity is rarely a single-layer problem. Laxity that comes from the skin responds to collagen stimulation; laxity from reduced muscle tone is a different issue. Nu Sculpt addresses both, layer by layer: focused ultrasound at 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm, radiofrequency for the dermis, and muscle stimulation for tone where it is appropriate.
Tightening develops gradually as tissue responds, rather than appearing all at once. The exact programme follows an assessment of your face — not a fixed menu.

Nu Sculpt is a non-surgical facial treatment that combines three energies in one appointment: high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), radiofrequency (RF) and electrical muscle stimulation (EMS). Each energy works on a different layer of the face, and the plan is set by a clinician after assessing your anatomy.
HIFU focuses 4 MHz ultrasound at fixed depths beneath the skin — 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm and 4.5 mm, the deepest reaching the SMAS layer. Nu Sculpt adds 6.78 MHz radiofrequency, which warms the dermis to around 45 °C where collagen sits, and microcurrent muscle stimulation, which prompts the underlying muscle to contract. The aim is to address the skin, the deeper supporting tissue and muscle tone together rather than one layer alone.

Most people describe warmth, tingling and brief deeper heat during the ultrasound passes. For 1–2 weeks afterwards avoid saunas, massage, heavy make-up and sun exposure, and avoid injectables, laser or IPL for a month.
Nu Sculpt is not suitable during pregnancy, for under-18s, for people with a pacemaker or other electronic implant, metal implants in the treatment area, unhealed wounds, severe acne, or skin conditions that affect healing. Breastfeeding, clotting disorders, heart disease, keloid scarring, diabetes, epilepsy and steroid or immunotherapy treatment need individual assessment.
